Making Windows - October 2004

Here you can see some windows and one locker hatch being made from scratch by Jaime Castro Caicedo.

The frame patterns were made first accurately in wood accordingly to measuraments taken previously at the boat hole windows place in Barranquilla. Thereafter the wooden frame was dived into sand to form the sand frame where aluminium melted was spilled in, forming like this the crude window frame.

Thereafter the polishing job start during days using sand paper. At the very end special paint is applayed.

HOME MADE NOTHING DIFERENT TO WEST MARINE OR ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL MARINER SUPPLYERS.

At the moment (Dec.2004) Jaime is making the pedestal and hand rails.
